When you hear people who take antidepressants are at risk of committing suicide, what they’re talking about is this- When people are severely depressed, they do not have the energy to kill themselves or be violent towards others. When they start an antidepressant, they start to feel better. They get more energy and they’re able to complete their plan to kill themselves or be violent towards others. They need to be around Loved ones during this time.
